Go Back to School with Slickdeals’ Online Shopping Deals

World — 03 August 2012

Have you guys ever heard of Slickdeals, the community-oriented sharing site where users find the most amazing deals on anything from a new TV to brand new computers to brand name apparel? Well, if you haven’t, shame on you. You’ve been wasting money!

But I’m telling you about Slickdeals now, so it will be okay now.

On August 1, Slickdeals launched a seasonal Back to School tab to help college students find the absolutely best online shopping deals for back to school essential supplies like backpacks, laptops, dorm accessories, etc. It’s absolutely free to sign up, and with community members being so active and helpful on the site, you couldn’t help but want to participate and share your experiences and knowledge.

And I am fully advocating the awesomeness that is Slickdeals. You know why? Because when I moved into my apartment, I managed to get a 40″ 1080p LED HDTV for less than $300, when a TV of that quality and size is easily $1000+. Those deals are just that good. And what’s even more amazing about the company, they never allow for paid promoted items to make the front page. Ever. So anything at ever makes it to the front page is a community promoted deal!

But it does take a little bit of skill to get the absolute best deals, since things on the front page oftentimes get sold out before you can partake in the deals (that’s why I have my friend who is obsessed with the forum section of the site just email me when he sees something he would buy that I happen to need, lol).

But be diligent! Only the most dedicated individuals with the quickest clicks will get the deals! Speaking of, I do need to get myself some new speakers…

Have you ever gotten a great deal on Slickdeals? What was it?
