Video: Hilarious One Direction Fanfiction [3/1]

I’ll be honest – I’m not exactly what you’d call a One Direction fan (honestly I can’t tell them apart. I had to look them up just to be able to name them correctly when we posted the Bad Lip Reading of them a few weeks back. Sorry! But, I know a lot of you are big One Direction buffs, and regardless of my fandom (or lack thereof, rather) I can recognize when something is funny. So, I’m betting all of you Directioners will appreciate this even more.

What happens when you take a giant fandom and combine it with the Internet? (Well, for one thing, Tumblr explodes.) Fanfiction, that’s what. You’ve seen Twilight fanfiction, Harry Potter fanfiction, and now, as it turns out, One Direction fanfiction is a thing (I shouldn’t be so surprised, I guess.) Anyway, we found this gem of a video of these two girls named Caroline and Cassie who jokingly decided to write a One Direction fanfiction story – but they didn’t just stop there. They acted out their story, despite their being only 2 of them and at least 10 characters in their story. They wrote a hilariously sweet story of finding love with their favorite band members and defeating their evil foreign exes (Confession: they killed off one of the boys, but I’m not sure which one he is anyway.) Their crazy voices and perfectly snarky acting make the video awesome. I’m surprised it only has just under 300 views, but sometimes the Internet is unfair.

Anyway, Cassie, Caroline, we thought your fanfiction video was fabulous. Also, we commend your ability to act in such a tiny dorm room.
