Video: “I Knew You Were Trouble” Acapella Cover [1/3]
Ever since the music video for Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” premiered on December 13th, the song has basically exploded – topping the charts in iTunes and eliciting covers from YouTubers everywhere. We can only assume it’s because added to Taylor’s as-usual sweet vocals is a little hint of dubstep (just enough to make her stand out against her pop-country background.) While Taylor’s newest single has so-far been a major success, we have to admit that Taylor may have been outdone (We know what you’re thinking… “Blasphemy!” But really, just hear us out!) While many covers have impressed us, there’s one that stands out above the rest. The band Walk Off The Earth recorded an acapella version of the song, complete with acapella dubstep and beatboxing by KRNFX. The video was posted on January 1st, and already has nearly 900,000 views.
Many of the comments on the video point out that it’s so good, even the plants in the background are dancing.
Check out the video below; it’ll blow you away, guaranteed.

Please don’t hate me for saying this, but I actually have an extreme aversion to Taylor Swift and refused to listen to her version of this song. I like the song now, but only because of Walk Off The Earth

Haha, well, Taylor Swift is not for everyone! But that’s pretty much exactly how I feel about Karmin’s cover of “Look At Me Now” – way more impressive than the original. And I still can’t get over how amazing this Walk Off The Earth cover is.
