Video: The You Generation Is Coming [3/14]

World — 14 March 2013

Do you have some awesome, crazy, weird, cool, or [insert more adjectives here] talent that you wish you could share with the world? Maybe you can sing like Christina Aguilera, breakdance, have amazing animation skills, or maybe you can do crazy stunts with ease. Whatever you’re good at, you should share it with the world. And that’s where YouTube comes in. The You Generation is coming, and now’s your chance to get yourself noticed.

So what exactly is the You Generation? According to the video below, “The You Generation is the World’s first global audition, giving you the chance to show off your skills and win amazing prizes, simply by uploading a video.” Sound awesome? Well then let’s raise the stakes – Simon Cowell is involved. Yes, the fabulously awful judge who made American Idol a household name.  How cool is that?

No matter what your talent or skills, the You Generation is for you. It launches on March 20th (6 days from now!) so get your webcams ready  and start practicing because it’s almost your time to shine. You can subscribe to the You Generation  and learn more here or if you’re on Twitter (we know you are) you can tweet with the hashtag #yougeneration and you can follow on Facebook. But however you choose to check it out, we hope to see your auditions! (If you do plan to audition, send us links to your videos! We’d love to check them out.)
